Karina has 10 years experience in Film, Fine Arts and Writing.

Karina completed a MFA In Film and has a Bachelors in Video Art and Drawing. After graduation, she worked in Hollywood as a script reader and editor. Her main duty was analyzing scripts for their potential to be greenlit and go into production. This involved creating detailed summaries/synopses, creating a log line, and suggesting edits to increase marketability. This experience, which involved reading hundreds of scripts, has given her a breadth of understanding of diverse screenwriting styles. Karina understands the flow of a good narrative.

She has written short films and two features, along with treatments, log lines and music reviews. She has also collaborated with various writers and creatives on a freelance basis, editing scripts, short stories, grant applications, synopses, and poetry.
